Urgent Dental Treatment

If you need dental treatment in an emergency:

  • call your dentist: some practices offer appointments at short notice or their answerphone may advise where to get out-of-hours treatment
  • if you don't have a dentist, try to find one using Scotland's Service Directory or phone the Arbroath & Angus Dental Advice Line on 01241 432 481 (8.30am - 5pm)

Further information specific to the Tayside region is available on the NHS inform website or see the leaflet Accessing and Continuing Dental Care in the Community.

Don't contact the practice as we won't be able to offer emergency or out-of-hours dental care.

If you're in pain while waiting to see a dentist, take painkillers. NHS 24 on 111 can also offer other self care advice.
