What are the benefits?

Independent Living Angus allows you to:

  • Register your basic details so you can access the service as and when suits you.
  • Look at as much or as little advice as you feel you need.
  • Complete assessments that you are interested in.
  • Find safe and suitable equipment and minor adaptation choices to help you manage living at home.
  • Find information at your own pace.
  • Access independent advice and information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Access Information on local and national groups and organisations.
  • Consider your options in relation to the purchase or loan of equipment.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost for using the online self-help system. Some of the solutions may be loaned to you by Angus Health and Social Care Partnership. If you decide to purchase the items privately, you will have the confidence that the items will be suitable in meeting your needs. There is a weekly cost for the community alarm service.
